12 Tags of Christmas – Day 1 is Dazzling

12 Tags of Christmas Begins Today

It’s December 1st. Have you been to Tim Holtz’s blog yet to view his first tag for Christmas? If not, let me give you a sneak peek:

12 tags of christmas day 1 snippetI said sneak peek. Did you think I was going to show you the whole thing? Not so. This is Tim’s big momment. You’ll need to head over to his site to see the splendar of it all.

As it is, this little corner shot shows so much details, I’m still in utter amazement at what I see. Not to mention that I’m drooling over all of the products that have his name on it!

First, I love the blue background. Tim’s use of distress ink and perfect pearls mists is delicious! It’s such a crisp winter tasty blue. Oh, and his use of the distress ink to color the ribbon, enlightening. I don’t think I’ll ever buy colored ribbon again!

I also love the house treatment. Oh my gosh, there is so much attention to detail in making the house I nearly giggled with delight! Glossy accents and Tim’s crackle paint are a must have! Not to mention the embossing and die plates! I want, I want, I want. I need, I need, I need!

Really, I could go on and on about this particular tag. There are sooo many techniques and so many alternative uses of product it’s amazing.

What I appreciate most about this, is the attention to detail, the extensive tutorial and the other bonus photos of other tags and uses of his house die.

So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Tim’s blog!
